![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The "yellow bang" flag in Device Manager resolved upon doing the driver change and a restart. Internet access on W10 boot was immediately restored by doing that update to 16.8.1.0. I also have used the above Device Manager method to navigate to the 16.8.1.0 driver available as an alternative driver cached on the SSD in a more recent W7 upgrade to W10 activation method. I have no idea why the install defaulted to that good driver in that case. SDH added notes: The 16.8.1.0 was the one that was auto-installed on one of my Z400 v2 builds of loading W10Pro64, and clones of that build have worked correctly from the very beginning. choose Browser my computer for driver- Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer. You will find this driver available in the windows driver list automatically available to you from within Device Manager. in my case it was Broadcom NetXtreme 57xx Gigabit Controller version 16.8.1.0. I finally fixed the issue by using an older version of the driver. Broadcom NetXtreme 57xx Gigabit Controller worked (17.0.x) fine with W7 before upgrade.
